Welcome to the website for the Town of Florida Public Library!
The Florida Free Library offers books, periodicals, audio books, DVDs and CDs in all genres. Because we are a member of the Massachusetts Library System and CWMARS a patron can request can request any type of matreial that we may not have at the Florida Library from any other library in the system and it usually is available to them within a week.
The Florida Free Library hosts special evening programs on Wednesdays from 5:00 to 6:00 for our younger patrons. Programs vary based upon interest. We have various themed craft nights as well as read alouds. We have hosted Birds of Prey programs and Haunting Tales and Songs evenings.
We also host Thursday evening programs for teens and adults from 5:00 to 6:30. We explore New England cookbooks through baking together. We have participated in Botanical Water Color painting with a local artist. We learned the techniques of wet and dry felting with our local school's art educator. We invite authors in readings.

Wednesday and Thursday 1:00pm to 6:00pm
The Florida Free Library is not open if the Abbott Memorial School cancels school. Our schedule is as follows:
Mondays 10:00am to 6:00pm
Wednesdays 2:00pm to 6:00pm
Thursdays 2:00pm to 6:30pm
